... all to myself at dusk and it was absolutely breathtaking. As I rode back into Dingle town in darkness and made my way back to the hostel, I was going to get a drink, as a reward for that challenging bike ride, but the second I went up to my room, I looked at the bed and passed out. ... as wide as the wrong turn while it zig zags its way up and over the mountain, many a pulling in to the waiting bay while others pass. Gotta love these wide main roads here in Ireland. Down through the worst of it and another stop, this time to wander out and see the Kerry Cliffs, they are nice to see but really after the Cliffs of Moher and Slieve League they do not compare but nice for a walk even in the cold. Onto Portmagee and the end of the Skellig ring, just take a few ...

... the Atlantic some 12 kilometres away.

As an added benefit we stopped at the Skellig chocolate factory and (you guessed it) everything was Gluten free- Del was in heaven.

After being dragged out of the shop armed with a variety of chocolates we continued the stunning drive around the Ring of Kerry as it followed the coastline until turning inland to Killarney. Along the way we stopped at the only beach bar in Ireland for lunch. With Beach ...
