After leaving Paris, JD and I caught a train to Bern, Switzerland. It was a long train ride, but the views were great. I was foolish enough to wait until the train station to use the restroom, this decision cost me 2 euros. Not only did the train station not have complementary restrooms, but it also lacked wifi. This made navigating to our hotel difficult as we had decided to forego planning, even to ...

... the river. We found some stairs in the sun and sat there for a couple of hours with our feet in the water. It was definitely fresh but we did see a few people going for a swim! They needn't swim though, the water was moving so fast it just carried them along. We were tempted to get in, but thought it might be a tad cold for us today. Would be amazing to come back in summer. ... was like "I want to go in here, no wait that shop looks cool - I want to go in that shop as well", and it's like this never ending of being amazed by all the cool things around. The buildings are old and beautiful in themselves..I could live here. This truly is the heart of Switzerland.

We come to the famous Old Clock Tower.
It was MASSIVE.
I don't ever remember it ...
