It felt a little breezy, but no more.
Urchisar was the next stop: the highest point in the area and an ancient village. Dropped off at the top of the town, we walked back to the bottom to meet the bus.
It was an interesting meander.

... balloons,,,,,,the sun rising. Simply amazing!
We flew for a little over an hour. It was nice and cozy in the balloon from the furnace. With the exception of having an extremely PUSHY Asian chick constantly trying to push against me,....the ride was PERFECT. (Obviously she neglected to realize that I was a LOT bigger than she was, and it was a Long, Long way down!)
I was hesitant to do the ride because of the cost, but I knew that ...
One of those days where I was one of the only foreigners in a big city. I had a great time visiting mosques and trying new foods such as Kayseri Manti which is meat rolled into pasta in tomato sauce. It is named after this city. I also had mercimek sorba (pronounced shorba) which is lentil soup, kisilik pastirma which is dried meat cooked with onion tomatoes and other veggies, gilaboru which is salted fruit ...
... clay pot beef stew or a whole small grilled trout. Dessert was baklava, rice pudding or fresh fruit. It was a pretty slick operation and we weren’t waiting round either.
Then off we went to the first of our visits to the cuzzys’ shops, this was a pottery where we saw a demo making a wine jug, then had the run of the shop afterwards – and no, didn’t buy anything but there were some rather lovely muted pastel platters in the ...

This new hotel is clean, the elevators are large enough, the bathroom fixtures are stylish and functional, and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and when I had trouble closing the window, the desk sent help in about 30 seconds flat. Awesome!
