West Edmonton Mall is the biggest Mall in North America, has an indoor skate rink, water park complete with water slides and a wave pool, and an indoor adventure park with a giant rollercoaster! It was the knowledge of this Edomonton icon that got us out of bed at 6:15am ready for a 7am leave. The drive from Calgary to Edmonton is three hours and we were tired! So that's what ...

... about 1.5 before orientation. Big misunderstanding. Anyway I knew that already when I started chasing information for orientation and they didn't have me in there. So I filled out the paperwork again and confirmed that when I left for Calgary in a week that they would have something for me. Just wasn't what I had travelled for that's all. Anyway, my schedule comes out and I had 3 confirmed shifts. The first shift was 4hours long at Rangeland Tent bussing after the catering function. Day ...

... morning on Tuesday, I snuck out of Winnipeg just as the sun was rising.

The first leg was relatively painless. With a McDonald's Americano (who knew McDs made great Americanos?!) I was on the TransCanada in no time and well on my way to Calgary. I made great time and hit the Saskatchewan border way quicker than I thought.

Now I have to say, the gas stops along the way, since I left Ottawa in fact, ...
