    ... they follow you even when you say no. No matter, we walk straight towards the lovely cathedral, in total awe of the architecture of this place. And then you turn around and realise that there are alot of lovely buildings in this square. There is one that looks like the Arc de Triumph, a Museum space, and, off in the distance I can see a statue (sure its got to be someone old and famous, so worth a look later on).

    ... and maybe a couple of other smaller vessels. Maybe it gets busier in summer proper? In any case, it felt kind of surreal to be on the water, in Italy, watching the world go by. Loved it.

    ... s first restaurant dinner in Italy where we enjoyed some, as always, delicious pasta. The training has been going really well so far.     Once we arrived in Milan, we greeted our tour guide and headed on our tour bus for the city. During the trip we have a main tour guid to guide us in general around for the whole trip, but we also have different tour guides every day to explain the specific city we are touring.     Sept 24th

    Bought a 2 day Metro train ticket. An easy way to get around the city.
    First stop Castello Sforzesco, Milan's castle. Massive walls and four towers. The museum housed religious paintings, armour, musical instruments and Michaelangelo's Pieta, the one he did as a practice before his famous piece.
