... to try and make her dress longer.

WE spent an enjoyable time wandering about the cathedral. Its big, beautiful, cool inside, and has some amazing stained glass windows. There were pews to sit on and pray, and some people were praying on their knees, most people however were using this time as free sit down space in a cool shady place (it was 34 degrees outside). One lady was eating her lunch at the pews, another was breastfeeding a baby.

... pinks, rustic reds and pale creams. There are large road tunnels on both sides of the lake, huge gaping holes built into the mountains to allow drivers to wind their way around this big expanse of water.
WE saw lots of these tiny villages on our way around, we saw large villa's, even a glimpse of where George Clooney is supposed to live. I was surprised that there wasn't more traffic on the water. No speed boats, no kayaks, no water skiers. There was really only a few ...

Italy was always going to be a little different. That became rapidly apparent at 5:30am as the Audi Sat Nav and I argued as to whether the country existed in the first place. Navigation was going to be interesting, thank god for google maps and an iPhone.
