It all kicks off today!

ARGH!

My brain can't actually handle the magnitude of this whole trip! Keep having flashes of reality that I'm literally going to be on the other side of the world in about 30ish hours! That aside I think I'm quite excited; tho sitting around waiting for time to pass and for me to be sat on the plane isn't really conducive to a thrilling environment!

I'm so glad that I ...

... of us.

I can hear the steam beginning to fizzle in Shaun’s ears and the blood beginning to boil as this crazy foolish driver (who actually turns out to be a middle aged woman) just sits there in the outside lane doing about 60. All of a sudden the penny drops and she goes to pull in to the middle lane; unfortunately for her she chooses to pull in at the precise time when the ****ing great artic lorry which was coming up ...

Tired...

Tired. I'm really f*****g tired. I’m not sure my body and brain can sustain much more of these 6am lurches into reality. Every morning I wake and my eyes stream, and I stumble drunkenly into the shower and wrecklessly throw baby talc all over me like a prisoner released from solitary confinement; This follows by an hour of listening to radio 4 while I try desparately to understand ...

... yesterday it reminded us of the hilly streets of San Francisco. The Lake District was beautiful today and we had a full day of touring. Almost every day we leave our accommodations by 9:00 AM and don’t get to the next location until 5:30 or 6:00 PM. They are long full days of sight seeing and Gordon has been wonderful to us. He usually drops us off and we get settled ...

Oh! Don't pinch my seat!

... around wondering if I should take notes while I try and keep up with everything Dr. Bujak was saying. With Dr. Greene by my side, I felt the need to be studious (not that I'm not, of course!) So I wrote a few things down on my notebook paper, one of them being "remember to sit in back of hall next lecture" with the word back underlined at least 3 times.

very short but pretty pictures

It's a lovely town and everyone comes to shop on a sunny Saturday. They all have their favorite places and the river is so pretty but I'm tired of writing about churches for a little while.
Look at Philip's pictures of this gorgeous, full on English Gothic perfection.

... is hard work but after a good photo or a good gig, that is the price in it. And even better if you dared to share it with others, and they do appreciate it.

The main thing is to do your best, pursue your dreams and not just to day dream about them. So here I am, making one dream come true in company of good friends that has taken me amongst them, pursuing their own dreams.

And JP had the his kilt on – he was looking cool, man.

As so many times before in the ...

... work that went into the carvings and stained glass was amazing. The streets called Shambles were cobbled and very quaint. Most of the buildings on these streets were slanted due to their age and hanging over the street, which gave you the the impression that they were going to collapse onto eachother. After enjoying some chips from the local shop, we went to see some ruins of an abbey in a beautiful park.
