      Amazing staff.
They provided us with a dinner service, for 150 people, at the last minute.

The stay was ok. There was an enclosed area with chairs and tables at the end of the hall that you could sit and watch the sun not set.

They are building a large new hotel next door . . .should be done by now.

I made it to Kotzebue! Thank you standby gods!

This evening's Alaska Airlines flight from Anchorage to Kotzebue was sold out, but I listed for it anyway using a friend’s father’s employee "Guest Pass," which provided a huge savings versus purchasing a positive-space ticket to get up to the Arctic. I ended up getting the last seat on the Boeing 737-400 Combi!

Today began at noon, when I woke up at Travelodge Anchorage after sleeping a bit more than 9.5 hours. ...
