Today, Friday, we had another great drive. We left Austin, Nevada by nine AM and had only about a hundred and fifty miles to travel. We moved lower and lower until now we're at about 4,400 above sea level. It's about seventy degrees here and feels great. Enroute we stopped at Petroglyph Site which was started by the Cattail People. The oldest petroglyph is about 8,000 years on up to 500 years ago. But, who's ...

... practically part of the road! It was a 26 mile drive through this part of the Pacific Ring of Fire that combines some of the life found in the Cascades and some of the life typical to the Sierra Nevada range.
