... me a tour, and she had the individual room available, so I took it as a sign, and stayed. Leslie (the owner) took me with her to go shopping in town (left a note on the door for other pilgrims), and off we went in her Renault 4 (yikes!!!) and picked up prawns for dinner. ... advantage of the situation.

For the rest of the day we did basically nothing but enjoy the day, the sunshine and the lovely view.

On Monday at low water, there were loads of "official / registered" cocklers on the beach. In the morning I also saw three dolphins exploring the area - magical! The weather has changed a lot - its now damp and miserable but we need to move ...

We left the lovely little bay and headed for Vilagarcia, not too far away. We found a spot in the marina and proceeded to go pay for the berth only to be told they were full - being a Friday and all that etc etc etc. So we anchored outside the breakwater (along with another British boat that was turned down).

We took the dinghy to the marina and went exploring. ...
