    A couple of good reasons for heading out to the far west are that we have never been to this part of Spain and this is the area where they produce Abariņo wine, one of Jo's favourites. Unlike the south this is very green as it is kept cooler and wetter by the Atlantic weather systems.

    ... coast so we climbed hill after hill, crossed rivers and ravines all the while the hills with scattered houses everywhere, were awesome in the evening sun. It was difficult later as the sun got lower and you're trying to drive West but the sunset time is short here.
    I persevered in the heat and arrived into Vigo at 22:20 approx. Headeparked up ad for beach at Vigo looking to find motorhomes parked up anywhere.

    It is hard to believe that tomorrow we walk into Santiago de Compostela. We are only about 12 miles away from the city.     ... so I'm in! So I'm off to find a monastery in the middle of nowhere tomorrow! Oh, did I mention that today's albergue had a laundry room?! With a full on coin operated washer AND dryer (didn't think they made dryers here, as there are ALWAYS clothes hanging out everywhere).
