... day only a few were open so we made the most of each and sampled as much wine as possible before wobbling back to Mr.Hugo's.

The next day we booked ourselves onto a sunset horse trek which took place in the foothills of the Andes. We were greeted by some Argentinian cowboys and many horses, however they were one short for our group so Rosie ended up riding one of the guides horses which didn't seem to enjoy falling in line with the others. We trekked through ...

... waiting for us by our bikes was a police motorbike. Apparently we were to be escorted home to our hostel as it was nearly 7pm. We set off on our bikes and shortly a police pick up truck escorted us pretty much all the way home to our hostel which was about a 30min cycle. I really didn't realise quite how dangerous it was, although I think it was a bit of an over-reaction. Still was such a great day and I cycled 12.5 miles which would have helped to burn off some of the wine ...

Tierra de Lobo is a place run by German guy who creates wine/grape based spirits/liqueurs. For 50 pesos we were able to taste six different products. They were all quite good and some stronger than others, the 43% pisco had a definite kick to it. As we got chatting, he threw in some extra ...

... shut. Frustrated, I grab a map of the town, and find where the beer house is, that we had planned to aim towards. It's about a half hour ride away. Some dodgy characters are getting around town and I decide that trying to get to the beer house is my best option. I ride for 10 mins before my chain snaps off again. Sitting in the gutter, with a ****, broken bike and little energy left, I'm about to leave the bike and jump in a taxi, when a couple of guys from the group ...

... seen. This trip has been value for money at around thirty five pounds each. We roll into the bus station ahead of schedule soon after three and jump in a cab to hotel Mendoza which is only a couple of K away, a bit of confusion checking in, trying to explain the other two will be here later but we're in and it's really nice. A wander round town with a few beers whilst reading many texts from Paul letting us know what a nightmare customs and immigration is before heading back to our ...
