    ... The only blip was the 50 km drive we took down a dirt track to Ville Traful which the guidebook promised to be a gem in the area. The views on the drive were pretty nice but Ville Truful had little to offer other than a bunch of dogs on heat. So we left again!     Uspallata is a village in a scenic location on the road which crosses the Andes between Mendoza and Santiago in Chile.
