We haven't yet seen as many of the sights of Cartagena as we intend to, but we've got lots of time for exploring the history and culture of the city. In the meantime, we'll enjoy the sun!
And the teaching? I love it. Even my one class of 7 year old devil-children is growing on me. I consider myself lucky when the others talk about their kids' classes and of biting, scratching, bleeding and even barking, when all I've had to contend with (apart from the incessant 101 decibel din) are bouncing erasers and little Paola who won't utter a word.
When I'm back in my West Side Story retreat I've noticed I talk to myself less now, happy for the peace.
