... I think I was definitely spoiled by all the great food in Germany.

Simon and his family were actually heading towards where I needed to go the next day for my flight, so they were nice enough to drop me off at the airport. I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Germany, it was such a fantastic time, I learned so much, and had such a perfect stay!

I had three more days to go before my flight back to the U.S., and I finished off where it all started, Madrid, Spain.

... I cleared customs and were on our way to the S train/subway to get to Frankfurt City. The streets were deserted as it was early morning. I will no doubt find out why later :) The trip to Berlin was about 5 hours through a white winter wonderland, Germany looks so pretty in the snow, as we got nearer to Berlin the snow got thicker. Held up and running late into Berlin we had arranged with the owner of an apartment to call or text if running late as she would meet us to give ...

... The plane landed. I was up and out of the seat, no being polite to the older business men taking their jolly time to get their bags. Having been on holidays eating Tesco Caramel Slice which, in one serving about the size of my thumb nail, contain 10% daily saturated fat intake, my fitness was definitely not peaking and I hadn't run in a while but gosh my legs got pumping and my lungs got heaving as I sprinted towards gate Z66. A customs gate meets us and my friend disappears, it ...

... has bamboozled me all my life, so I was happy. He also presented 3 new releases. There was a really good modern day drama as well. It was interesting to here talks given in English by Germans, Africans, poms and kiwis. Hard to understand some. There are 3300 foreign delegates, mostly yanks, but also quite a few Greeks. The day went really quick, and I'm back in the hotel lobby typing this. Still light and beautiful outside even at ...
