      Once I got to Germany I had a hard time figuring out where to go and communication, but I managed to figure out a plan to make things work.       ... and this was just one more. It was a public holiday which, in Germany, means, like Sundays, no-one works, so the only businesses allowed to open are touristy, like souvenir shops, trips, and cafes, bars and other foodie places. All good for us!
