Really good hotel. Modern, well equipped, good location (5min metro ride into the city). Room was large and comfortable. Free wifi which worked well. Good breakfast, numerous choices of hot and cold dishes. Staff were friendly and efficient. A note for english speaking travelers - no English speaking tvs channels. Not a big deal but something to take note of. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

Today I bus to Frankfurt. I've been there before a long time ago when I worked for Penguins doing the book fair. I'd seen a little of the city then but it has grown in stature since and is more of a financial hub. It laden with foreigners it's not unlikeable though and has a lively atmosphere. Like Berlin there are some amazing smells around the city but also like ...

... checked...and they had said we didn’t need to be there. A little disorganized this morning!

Whatever; we got on the plane and had a nice flight home. Arrival into JFK was a few minutes early, and because of Global Entry and no checked bags, we were in our car by 5PM – great timing! The drive home was the usual mess but we made it in just over 3h so not bad. Now all we have to do is await the S6’s ...

... on my trip to Iceland I took the same bus and the same thing happened kicking me off. However such things are normal with Toronto transit which cant run an efficient bus or train service. After a long anxious 20 min wait the next airport bus came.

My booking didn't show the terminal number and neither did the boarding card. I didn't see ...

... get a Christmas ornament from every country we visit. So far so good… but there was an amazing little shop that sold only wooden toys/ornaments and there was a shop that sold hand made lace things. From €5 bookmarks to €1000 table clothes. You could tell why they were so expensive though. We realised the time and rushed back to the station to catch our train to Germany. We have first class train tickets so we got to sit in a nice little ...
