... planning on going to Spain but due to certain events within this past month it was canceled. So I sit here on my antique bed wondering what it is that I should spend my precious holiday with? Loosing unnecessary weight? Shopping? School work? Redeeming my friendship with my best friend? Or just sitting around getting fat?

My answer is, a little impromptu shopping trip down to Lugano.

Jaja...am 17. Juni wars dann soweit, die Heimreise nach dem 8,5 Monatigen trip stand bevor.
Am Hongkonger Flughafen as ich noch meinen letzten Big Mac....traditionell :).....und dann gings auch schon los Richtung Heimat...obwohl noch nich ganz, zuerst Flogen wir nach London....

We could see that there was some sort of market or festival going on beside the lake near the train station so we had fajitas and hot dogs for dinner while the girls had some fairy floss. There were guys selling roasted chestnuts, I had tried them years ago, but couldn't remember what they were like. Both Greg and I really liked them and I can understand why Europeans really miss them when they move to Australia.

Time to get the car and drive to Buonas! We decide to drive to Lucerne before arriving in Buonas. There's this wooded bridge Andy wanted to see. What a good decision that was. Lucerne was amazingly beautiful and totally worth the extra 30 minutes in the car. We had lunch by the river, and took pics of the bridge before arriving in Buonas.

... are works of art protruding from the towers, and in front of the cathedral is a beautiful bench with fun creatures wrapping themselves around it.

When we were almost out of time on the meter we made our way back to the car and continued east through Switzerland.

... waited for about 5 minutes as we wanted to sit outside as it was so beautiful. I'm lactose intolerant so I decided to try the meat fondue as I've never had it before (I've had fondue before but the Asian way). Roxy didn't like fondue either so got a rabbit salad. It was really nice to have one last meal with them and we had a really good time. The waiter though... wow... that was one of the worst service I think we got (aside from Bucherer). He forgot ...

Can't escape! 2. Every woman seemed to either be wearing skinny jeans (and really shouldn't have been) or was pregnant. We got two extra points if you saw a pregnant woman wearing skinny jeans... 3. ... eikä päässytkään. Matsien jälkeen oli perus baarien kiertelyä. Lauantai 14.6 Toisena päivänä taas syömistä ja juomista ja suunta kohti fanzonea. Yllätys! Siinä välissä kävimme kuitenkin Zürich-järvellä 1,5 tunnin risteilyllä. Lopussa vähän ripotteli vettä, mutta alussa oli ihan suhteellisen miellyttävä ilma auringon jopa paistaessa. We wake up in a summer / winter paradise paradox. Turns out last night we had an epic evening. Today we made university museum visits. We visited N's office at the University of Zurich, Irchel campus, and then on to the Anthropologisches Museum on the same campus. E joined the group later at the University's Zoological Museum on the downtown "Uni" campus. There we saw amazing displays of insects (with magnifying glasses) and animals.
