I had never thought of travelling to Zurich only to take part in the Street Parade. But back in 2008 some friends wanted me to go there and I did not regret it. It is a real special parade with many friendly people in a very nice city near the Lake Zurich. The central station was also decorated and used for the party, and during night time the big station hall became one of the largest dancing clubs in the world. I can only tell people to go there and enjoy the great ambiance!<br>

The direct one left so we had to take the one that went to Zurich and then transfer to the one that went to the airport so we could take the free airport shuttle bus to the hotel. Just a day trip to see this old city. Lots of brightly painted buildings with ornate oriel windows. Most of the windows were carved with scenes or fancy designs, sometimes painted, sometimes both. Lots of fountains and statues. Found a chocolate shop and pigged out.
