... car wasn't where I thought it should be. We walked halfway down each isle looking for it. I thought that for a moment , maybe someone had stolen it. ... with Marie-Ange and then I headed out to meet up with my new friends at an Irish pub called Dubliner's. I met some more of Pauline and Kevin's friends and we passed a wonderful evening playing a game called Baccalaureate. This is essentially the same game as Scategories. We played with both English and French words, which was a blast as I taught my new french friends some fun American words/phrases like "funny bone" and "spaghetti squash". :-)
Today we got up and met up with Shiv at about noon. We had coffee and lasagne for breakfast from her café. Strange but it was so good. During this time we met a few of her friends whom stoped in and said hi, it was nice.
We then made our way to Baden-Baden to get cake just like we had two years prior.

... The pillows were also inexplicably large, flat squares (we later figured out that we needed to fold the pillows in half). Apparently the Germans are not cuddlers. We awoke on the 10th day of our trip and enjoyed a hearty breakfast buffet of homemade breads and yogurts, charcuterie, cheese, 5 min eggs, fruit, homemade compotes and jams and cakes, juice, and coffee & tea (served in real silver) before setting out on our day of hiking in the Black Forest! ...
... or not the place we had parked our bikes wouldn't result in them being ticketed or worse still, clamped or towed, we found somewhere to park the bikes for the night which wasn't too expensive and not too far away from the hotel.
During the evening we found an Indian Restaurant and had a nice inexpensive meal. We also visited a Russian style bar and sampled a few of their beers.
