    ... We found the authentic Spanish day bar and clenched the thirst with our first jug of sangria, then another jug, then another…Moving along to find some food (preferably with a menu we could read, which took a few goes). Andy had the best hamburger ever, which we all took a bite of and Zarah and I shared Nachos. 1 more stop to pick up a bottle of vodka from the grocery store, 11 euros for a litre ($15)….we love Spain!

    ... on in the cruise and then went up to the sail away party. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the party was hopping.

    After we sailed away it was time for dinner. Lumiere's was our restaurant for the night. It was the Welcome Aboard menu. We met our servers: Widi our Assistant Server and Mizar our Server. They are both great.

    Dinner was good and afterward we went for our usual walk on Deck 4 to work off dinner.

    ... the city, port and drove past the Olympic Stadium / Museum. From here we wandered back down into the city centre, dropping off a contingent at the Sagrada Familia and the rest of us in the centre. I decided to visit the Casa Batllo apartments by Antoni Gaudi and take the cable cart from the city up to the Olympic Museum. I only got to do one of these three things before days end.

    My map reading skills seemed to have disintegrated and with no Google Maps ...

    ... Barcelona as per a recommendation from my friend Anthony). I ate garlic shrimp, I drank wine and I watched as Spanish couples, dressed up in their finest fashions and their reddest lipsticks, walked hand-in-hand out to dinner. Or home from dinner. Or perhaps, dancing. Hell if I knew where they were going, or anything else about this place, or the people in it. But I was hopeful after a little rest, I might have the energy to get up and go find out. Sweet ...
