Just one night stayed at this hotel. I got everything I expect from a hotel. I slept very well. Perhaps because I had spa few hours before sleeping.

After conference end church Leanne and her hubby took me around the local Rotorua area. We drove around the entire lake past Redwood Forests to Blue Lake and Green Lake. They are right next to each other and totally different colours!

On the west side of Rotorua, we visited the natural springs of Te Puna-a-Hangurua. It was a lovely walk …

Lovely day being shown around this lovely town. Rotorua, a town of 70,00 people is nestled in a huge volcanic crater 20km across and on the edge of a large lake. The region has 18 lakes in total.

Started my day in Auckland and had flown in the night before from Brisbane. That morning while working out in the gym I managed to smash a 6kg ball into my jaw putting my top teeth through my bottom lip right through to below my lip. Yep it really hurt and bled a lot!!

Virus still has us sneezing coughing and grunting in various degrees. We started the day at Te Pai a large reserve dedicated to the history and culture of the Maoris. Our guide for the morning was a dignified and softly spoken elder of the local tribe. The reserve covered a large area and included a wildlife reserve, a forest, a section dedicated …

Both of us are still suffering suffering with the symptoms of the virus we picked up on the flights to Sydney. However, we are managing to keep to our schedule while wishing we were wrapped up in bed!

We picked our hire car up from the centre of Auckland and set off to Rotorua. Motorway gave way to country roads and we took the advantage …
