But finally made it to the 1st floor and there was a ice skating rink, a restaurant, shops, a glass floor, and wine bar. It was quite nice. I had lunch in the Eiffel Tower before I taking the elevator back to ground level. Before I got on the elevator, I looked through the glass floor (I did not stand on it) and took a picture of the crazy long line to get ...

The buses drove us to the Australian Embassy where today's performers went to set up while the rest of us had about an hour and a half to wander around the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower again. One party made friends with the Tower maintenance men after one member lost the sole of their uniform shoe. I understand that after ...

... with a traditional French breakfast of bread, cheese and croissants to Katie's dismay. Not a cafe or Starbucks to be found near the hotel. We then went on a bus tour of Paris. My kind of tour. The sun started to shine during the tour giving Paris a whole new look. It is beautiful. The old architecture is amazing and it is everywhere. The kids weren't as impressed. Can't lie...I was starting to nod off myself. Lack of Starbucks I guess. When we got off the bus at one stop ...
