    ... try extremely hard to kick his butt.Then we drew pictures and colored. He drew pictures of my favorite animals, a polar bear and an owl. How stinking cute! I drew a dinosaur and then a pterodactyl and then Rapha helped me color it it. It was a really good afternoon being able to spend time with Rapha without having to be in teacher mode.

    First a tour of the extensive gardens, ponds and statues which extend in all directions.

    A coffee and a brief rest before the main tour of the palace. Through the King's State Apartment completed between 1671 and 1681. The Hall of Mirrors is a series of rooms 73m long and 10.5m wide and 12.3m high.

    ... so this is her chance to stock up. I found a couple of unusual items - and will post up a picture on here for you to make up your own mind about. We then wandered around the shops at the bottom of the Montparnasse tower. Nothing special, mostly clothes stores - did find a leather jacket that looked good, but still plenty of shopping days left in Paris. No point buying the first thing you see.     Hi Jess Chris Claire Elsie Tom and Ashie Had a great day out exploring Paris today - we left the hotel at 8 and have just now returned at 5. Feet sore but have seen sooooo much. Bought our breakfast at the the local supermarket chocolate croissant, fruit and a baguette -off to the Eiffel Tower then walked all the way down by the river to the Louvre - only to find that it is closed for cleaning on a Tuesday :-( so walked on to ...
