... we had planned on going to the Louvre. In the morning S read some reviews online that suggested the Napoleon apartments at the louvre were just as impressive if not worth more seeing than Versailles. Sure these views were likely one sided and narrow but they supported our plans so why not believe them. So with S's 5 layers and me my scarf we were off. Foiled by the metro once again ( the ...

... 710 Steps.) It was a great exercise, but also nice to just see the views as you got higher up. It was fun doing it with friends, because alone, I would have paid the extra euros to just take the elevator up. After being up there for maybe 15 minutes, Shelby needed a drink, and I decided I would last until we got down. Two minutes after saying that, I decided I wanted a drink. As I went back to the store that was open on top of the tower, it closed! ...

... Paris. After the church we went and sat on the steps to eat a sandwhich. We then wandered the grounds and listented to more facts, before leaving. The castle looked like it was from a childrens story book.

We hoped back on the Metro and Tara picked us up.

We went home and visited with Tara, Charlie and Greg. Greg ordered dessert a couple days ago from the same company that owners the chocolate shop we visited days ago. Kouign Amann from Brittany. AMAZING!!!!!
