... Too distant for my little camera.  Well another day was gone but it is one I will never forget.   Thursday 2/7/15 - left Ubirr, drove to outskirts of Darwin via stop at Bark Hut (pub/cafe/tourist centre/etc), could not get into van park that Des will be stopping at for next week so went down rode to another at Coolalinga and here we are until tomorrow. The rain was pouring today as left Redhead and started our journey down to Wollongong. The temperature is barely above 20° here and my blood has thinned after all these years living in Queensland. It's cold and that is a pathetic statement because it can't be classified as cold in anyone's language. Yet we are wrapped up ...

... we went to a very small town called Bundeema where we had lunch, it's only 400 metres across the sea to Cronulla but the only way to get there is a 60 minute drive. Next stop was in Botany Bay and the first landing point of Captain Cook and the HMS Endeavour on April 28th 1770, and the founding of New South Wales and Australia. Our final stop was at Brighton Sands which is on the other side of Botany Bay. By the time we got home I was ...
