Our guesthouse is lovely.. clean and leafy with a nice pool surrounded by hammocks, but today we move to a different cheaper one which looks even nicer!!! We think we will stay here for quite a few days as the Israelis say that the south is very wet at the moment. Brazil is so big.. Rio is 3000kms away so the weather can be quite different. Its scorching hot here and perfect for some lazy honeymoon days....

... the beach having a cold beer and hawkers will come past selling EVERYTHING you could imagine.. hammocks, cds, rails of clothes, wooden ships, fresh fish, paintings, sunglasses.. its just insane. All the teenage boys have converted wheelbarrows with a battery inside and a car radio on the outside as they come past blasting music and selling their copied cds.. its hilarious. The next minute a man with a wheelbarrow ...

... a mid-evil pub. There were also about 10 bars in one complex right down the street. The funny thing about that place was that all the women in the place were hookers. All of them!! I sat in there for 3 nights, smoked a cigar, drank a coke, and went to bed. I did not get approached by any hookers. I guess that is a good thing but a blow to the ego. :o))

... low tide by walking along the rocks, well worth it when we were swimming just metres away from dolphins splashing and playing in the water. It was an incredible place and one of the most spectacular places we have been to. After a hard day at the beach we took advantage of the good nightlife and dangerously strong caipirinhas. It was an amazing place to chill out and relax in and we didnt want to leave.

I walk probably 2 miles to this shopping mall (it´s quite funny actually, all the shopping malls are called `shopping XXX`, so this one was called ´Shopping Pria`and this isn´t just in Natal it´s everywhere.
