Than, for half day I had bad road
or even off road, but I relativelly enjoyed it. I could, at last made a proper use of my ...

Jambi was to serve two main purposes. The first was to break up my journey to Java. I took a shared car from Padang thinking it might be a bit more comfortable. As it was another 12 hour overnight journey I was hoping for a decent(ish) night's sleep. You basically hire a seat in a people carrier. It did not go to plan though. The road was awful so if the car was not bumping through huge holes in ...

XXXXX It goes on southwards. No time for sights, of which there are almost none. Finally a stop in a town its name I'm able to remember ...
