... was AMAZING. I can't even begin to describe everything- it was so magical and great. More pictures of that to come. For now, I gotta study for my German grammar test that is tomorrow. And I gotta learn German because T diddy insists that I will return to the states speaking German, so we only speak German in my suite. I WILL BE GOOD AT IT.
... especially to German standards, so I decided (/was forced) to walk all the way to the city a solid 30 mins. On the way I saw that someone got hit by the tram!!! Ambulances and Polizei everywhere! I don't think they died, but just got badly badly burned. I mean hurt. (sorry, movie quotes). Getting hit by a tram would suck, even more than by a bike! But I also don't understand how you can- they don't move very fast ...
... hit the ATM, whilst Vlad determined to put everything on the card. We found the only bar on the Swiss side of Rheinfelden (another walled town by the way, a great little spot). The bar just happened to be an over 30's venue playing non stop 80's music!! Ivan and Vlad were in heaven. We let everyone know the Aussies were in da house. ... so clearly from the hills on our walk. It was a suitable end to a perfect day. The church was built in the 18th century but it was a mixture of styles with gothic pillars and walls painted in a medieval fashion but with the typical feel of German Baroque.
Tomorrow we leave for Viala du Tarn (No internet) and an eight hour drive, because of missing out Lyon. So watch this space to see when we can update again...
