Okay, so I was finally able to land a soft-boiled egg. The Germans have these fancy little dishes just for your soft-boiled eggs, where you sit the egg vertically and then smack the top with a spoon and peel the shell off. Heaven!!! This morning we left Trier and the Porta NIgra for a long day of bus riding. This was our get-to day. We needed to …

From that ride we followed Michael, Kara, Vasilisa, Chelsy, Kelly and Jessica to the huge wooden coaster, Wodan! Everyone went on this one and the ride went 100km/h (62m/h) 40 m up. The first hill was soo much fun and the drop was even better! I think this one is my new favorite wooden roller coaster! ... most of Germany drink out of 500mL bottles, Rothaus were late to that game only first producing in the early nineties. They are more known for their 330mL stubbies.

We decided to have dinner at the restaurant after the tour, but had to wait a while because everybody else had the same idea! The food was a good traditional, South-German style and the perfect way to end of a day by drinking beer straight from the source!
