      Pisa and all that Leans.

... to take us into the centre of the city. Not sure if you had to pay but we didn't as we got on the back of the bus. Oh well next time :-). Here we were in Pisa. A lovely little town and somewhere out there was the Leaning tower of Pisa. We walked down this long pedestrian plaza with lovely houses on each side and lots of people out enjoying themselves. We crossed the river, making note where a nice place to eat was and a place to buy a ...

From the Duomo we grazed ...

      Florence 1

In the morning before leaving Venice I and Monique went back for calamari and baby octopus. Oh my god the baby octopus was so good I want to cook it for myself. Although I'm confused here in Swiss it seems just cheaper to buy 50% off Sandwiches for lunch and dinner than cooking for one.

The train ride was absolutely beautiful. The countryside were all like olive gardens or vineyards with little cottages. It was so so green ...

... club, which was fun. I also went out to an outlet mall on the way to Bologna to buy a couple of extra tops. The labels are all represented (Prada, Michael Kors, Nike, Blumarine, D+G, Ralph Lauren etc), which was cool to see how much cheaper they are!! All in all, the family were very nice and casual about everything. I learnt about how cold farmhouses can be! The Florian hills aren't the warmest place in ...
