Showing the Jenny the city and sand which is now the Dubai I have grown to tolerate.
28.11.13 - We had a late night arrival and a HUGE line at immigration, but other than that it was super easy getting in and out of the airport. I got to experience riding in a woman taxi for the first time since I had Jenny with me. Our driver was chatting …
The route of today's bus trip was through the business and newer areas. We got off at a beach, a free one as opposed to the stop before that you had to pay to go on. It was sooo hot. There weren't huge amounts of people at the beach. We spoke to someone who stuck a toe in and said it was warm water, it couldn't have been anything else with the heat …
After a bit of a sleep in we headed out and onto the hop on hop off bus. It was air conditioned downstairs.... We got to see around the older part of Dubai. Nice hotel in a great location. Located near the Mall of Emirates and only 20 minutes from Dubai Airport. Many taxis didn't know where it was, so just tell them it's near the Ramada behind Emirates Mall. Nice size lounge with a separate bedroom you can close off with a sliding door. Nice bathroom with hot and powerful showers. Would definitely stay here again.
