    2 days to go!
    Paul reckons he is all packed. Ian and myself have got our stuff ready to be packed.
    Early start on Tuesday morning will see us meeting for a cooked breakfast at a Bistro in Chadsmoor (Cafe really), so we will be looking for somewhere we can see the bikes!
    The weather these last few days has been very sunny and warm. Let's just hope it continues on into next week and ...

    ... an old steam train railway. Well we never saw or heard anything about that but what we did see, or rather experience, was this wonderful Country Park. Bryan and I took it in turns to go off and explore as I had things I wanted to do and later, when Bryan was preparing dinner, I did my exploring.

    ... see the dragonfly at the centre of the maze. We made it!!! The buildings and surrounds so beautiful - the weather, well english I guess!!
    Through Upper and Lower Slaughter and onto Stow-on-the-wold (known for the gypsy horse markets later in the year) for a cuppa before supper and cinema in Northhampton.

    ... share Dave's olive skin and huge blue eyes. We heard so many stories about Roger and filled in many of the gaps with all our questions answered.     ... so had a longer wait at Cov than expected – we could have listened to a couple more songs – but at least it was a through train and reasonably quiet, too. The journey home was much shorter than last night’s.

    To conclude it was a pretty good Godiva with some definite highlights. I believe that the total attendance was around 125,000 which must be satisfying for the organisers and promoters. I think this was a record. I’m sure we’ll be back next year.
