    We awoke and went on the bus to see the sites of Budapest. We saw a lot of the buildings by night and now we went back to a castle today to see it from a daytime perspective.     Breakfast was great as usual! Off at 7:45 am to our destination in Budapest. Along the way are 2 stops. Bratislava will be one of our stops along the way. The weather is holding up although it rained early this morning…it is pretty clear now, 24 C. We get the front seat on the bus today! Nice to be able to see all of the sights from the front …

    ... I chose traditional goulash with extra spice and a Hungarian meat pancake, with an accompanying glass of the local beer. Afterwards, we stopped by markets that are held everyday at noon, where we bought several different kinds of marzipan pastries, bought some more beer and had a picnic outside of the opera hall. I went back to the hostel to grab my pack, said goodbye to dave, and then made my way back to the main station to catch the night train to Munich!
