    Thursday

Got up to run, but suspected it would be the last day for this because I now had a bug bite on my ankle and it physically hurt to run. Got us pain au chocolats because by this point, we were both pretty sick of baguettes, and the croissants from our Boulangerie had run out by 10 am when I went to get them. A word about stores in Nice, Nice stores do not run on your schedule, you run on their schedule. There are ...

And then the heat disappeared, and the locals were arriving for lunch in sweaters, jackets and long pants, looking at me and muttering under their breath, "Une touriste. Pas Francaise." .

    ... do I.
This morning we had breakfast in the tropical courtyard of the hotel with a parrot name Morgan and decided to see if we can change our plans and stay here longer instead of going to Avignon.

    We will see what happens...

For now, all we know is the plan for today is swimming and shopping.

We hope all is well with all of you and we thank you Mom for the updates on the girls - we love getting email from them! :0)

    Love you all,
