A lazy morning. Had breakfast with Horst, did some washing and trip planning. It is a rainy day and only 17 degrees. We walked the 3km to Horst's Office then off to lunch at La Bottega Italiana. Spoke with the owner Rudolfo about the photos on his wall. ... flavour to the milk. We walked about 10kms on this track. Next we drove about 30 minutes to Tietjens Hütte and started another 10km walk to Melchers Hütte and back. ... to be a toll house to collect toll fees from the boats sailing to Bremen on the River Wumme. The restaurant was renovated in 1999. It has a straw roof that is guaranteed to last for 30 years.
