... of Bogor. We liuved it up, perched upon stools in the cafe, De Denaun, overlooking the lush, green botanical gardens. The remainder of the day was spent exploring the streets of Bogor and tasting the street hawker food. Bogor is pretty small with not a great deal happening at night, so I felt we had pretty much seen Bogor, I watched a film on my walkman in the evening and went to sleep.

There are many smells- petrol, sweet cigarette smoke ( a local option of kretan tobacco slowly dried and mixed with cloves, illegal to import to many countries), rotting rubbish, and lush spicy food. All in all we love Jakarta busy smelly yet so so friendly. P.S If we do put the photos on the fountain is a lovely monument, just outside the national park due to the traffic we couldn't get closer but the pedestrian 'death' bridge offered a better vantage point. So its been a few days and its been great!! On Fri I meet another Aussie named Joe who was here For his brothers wedding. Its his 9th time here and really loves it! We spent most of the day pool side drinking cocktails. He offered to show me around Kuta. That evening he took me to his fav. seafood restaurant on the beach.
