    ... dragonfruit juice ...... WOW. So good that we went again the next evening.

    Malaysians come to Bandung for shopping and so we went shopping too. A HUGE outlet store jammed with people - it was like exiting a metro station! Piles of clothes everywhere being turned over. Then a HUGE mall of brand shops. Found a Marks and Spence and a look-a-like. A BIG sale here and bought trousers and shirts.

    Chris introduced the family to Bananagram - fast version ...

    ... on visiting any other volcanoes in Indonesia, you can give this one a miss. The others will be less crowded and more fun.

    So its at midday that I find myself on the further side to the entrance with the entire view to myself, the paths are still pretty much intact, there are a lot of spider webs filling the path, so I did annoy a lot of spiders on this trek. It was so worth it though, with the smell of sulphur now becoming more and more ...

    ... home to her daughters and pay her 150,000 rupiah...which is only 15$ but for her is cash in hand instead of at the end of the month, and she's happy.

    Cleaning the house twice a week is definitely enough, it keeps everything under control and it's probably really easy work for the money she gets. Darcy seems to like her, and just watches her work but runs away once the vacuum whirs to life.

    Another downer is that our laundry builds up quickly and if I put it away ...

    ... and then told her there was no way I would ever take someone else’s baggage through an international airport- especially ones with signs everywhere advertising the death penalty for numerous offences, let alone for someone who I only met once and who themselves was doing it for someone else… Sufficed to say we didn’t split a taxi to the agency once we got to Singapore!

    ... jam". SO MANY people going in directions that don't even exist; carrying things on their heads, bikes, backs, and pushing through with no intention of being polite.
    Utter mayhem!
    And I thought the car traffic was bad!

    We escaped the jam and ventured north towards the markets. We found a whole bunch of fruit and vegetable stands where Evin bought a carrot and some fruit salad for the road.
