    Shopped for food and found mango steen! I am in 7th heaven.

    Next morning I cooked my "breakfast" of bacon, banana. and maple syrup pancakes. Very popular! Both daughters and an older male cousin got involved with the cooking.
    Off to Bambu Dusun, a bamboo village/park, a very popular picnic place for locals on a fine weekend. We didn't spot another westerner here'but would recommend it for a day trip. Very interesting ...

    ... the taxi, it soon became very clear why the two and a half kilometre journey was going to take more than half and hour. The traffic was unrelentlessly dense and virtually static for the entire journey.
