Southern China, here we come (again...)
Took an horrific taxi ride to Chongqing airport and had a short 2 hour flight to Guangzhou.
Checked in the hotel, which is, thankfully, in the airport, had a short lounge rest and we're off to explore Guangzhou in 32 degrees heat. :)

A best day EVER at Guangzhou safari
Some days are just plain awesome. It's as simple as that.
Today was one of the (if not THE) most enjoyable day ever! :)
We took a long metro ride to Guangzhou safari, which is the biggest one in Asia!

... given the menu as a warning as we entered, in that there was no English or pictures, clearly a locals only place but we were hungry and exhausted. Often, being the only westerners in a lot of places we'd visited, you felt a bit like the strange drifter in an American western, walking through the swinging saloon doors of a pub as all the locals turn and stare for a moment, often much longer, before going back to their business.
