... handsome. In Guangzhou I see some men and I think hey he looks kind of like Bruce Lee, in China that never happens. There is no resemblance. Cantonese is a very different language. Even counting to 10 is different enough I didn't have time to learn it properly. I feel I will end up back in this city again. Well it has one of the largest and busiest airports in China/Asia so that's not such a big thing to say.

The sun was very overbearing this day. 2 of the 3 of us got some bad sunburns. I never even thought of it so I opened my shirt up because I was hot, and at the end of the day my entire chest was red, but not very painful. We unfortunately did not have time or energy for one of the bigger sites, even though we walked 3+ km to close to the entrance gate.

whole thing. I was very curious (from my lack of travel experience) and
pleasantly surprised when the plane served “pork and vegetables” which was kind
of like microwave Chinese food. ...

... to sleep too long today, as we have to be up very early tomorrow to start the trip back home. Zayne's visa was delivered as expected this afternoon, and we are basically all set. Zayne is picking up a couple English words a day. He is doing well, and his cough is all but gone. Hopefully he will do well on our long travel day tomorrow.

We depart in the morning at 6:30 for the airport and our trip to Shanghai. From there, we have about a 4 hour layover ...
