    ... walked down Rue de la Roquette and Rue Keller to a restaurant called Le Bistrot du Peintre which features typical French cuisine. I had chicken with pomme frites, Brigitte had filet of pork, Dad had lamb ribs and Mum had duck. It was all really good.

    On the way back we walked along Rue Daval which seemed to be the party street. Mum said this is where Dad and her would have been if we weren't around. Just looked like a whole lot of people drinking and smoking. Forget ...

    ... boat. It was the perfect time to go because at 9:45, just as we were coming up to the Eiffel Tower, the lights came on. I think it's more beautiful at night, and the only thing that would've made me happier was if the twinkling lights started when we were there.
