    ... we explored the incredible garden they had there, mainly a tourist trap, we headed off to the markets. It was in the garden that my camera died however, so unfortunately everything between the garden and the alumni dinner went un-photographed. The markets were insane. Rows after rows of shops with people pushing to sell everything from buddhist statues to robes to trinkets to anything you could think China might have.     ... hum it for as long as I could remember it lol. Bizarre. Having bought an Expo t-shirt as a practical souvenir and a delicious ice-cream, we realised that we were running late (10.30pm-ish), as in the metro shuts stupidly early in Shanghai, so we ran for the last metro and having planned to get up at 5.30am for Fuxing Park, headed back for an early night.     ... of the experience went beyond dreadful and horrific, dropped off the scale, and reappeared back at the top near fantastic, awe-inspiring, and life-defining.
