    ... br> The hotel room was dark but very luxurious and well positioned for a short walk into town. It was very warm here (compared with San Sebastian) and we walked to Plaza Mayor but everywhere was closing for food and the town seemed sleepy.     ... The dinner was 5 courses and complete with a mariachi band! The next day we started classes, and I am pleased to report that all of my teachers are amazing! They are all hilarious, really helpful, and easy to understand, which is the most important part of all. There is a lot more i experienced in that first week, but because it is almost 11:00 here and I did not have a siesta today, I'm going to have to say adios for now!     ... to meet and spend time with them all... my second family in Spain. :) And everyone was sooo nice to both of us and the effort made to make sure that we had a fun time and that my mom felt welcome. Well I knew to expect nothing less based on my past visits. :) But it was a particularly nice two days, and it was a great way to end our trip to Europe, we both agreed! She found out that her cholesterol is too high, and that her Simvastino (Simvastatin in Spanish) is not doing the trick, so now she has to tone it down on the fried food.
