          35 Year - School Reunion

A travel blog entry by blues61 on Oct 10, 2015

          Well, what can I say!

I have never been to a school reunion before and didn't know what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was great seeing all my old friends and also quite funny seeing people that I didn't recognise who recognised me first, although that wasn't often. :-) There were about 80 people that turned up for the reunion and out of them I probably would have known about 20-30 which wasn't too bad.

Sydney Day 2: Manly and Bondii Beach

A travel blog entry by redhalo on Jul 29, 2015

... mistakenly thought Manly Cove was it for a bit and was very unimpressed. Was expecting a much bigger beach. Walked along the beach for a bit and ended up sitting I. The sand eating lunch and watching the surfers. Some of them were really good! Caught the ferry back and managed to get straight onto a bus to Bondii. Couldn't have timed it better! Got off and walked round to the Iceberg club and read about ...

Sunday 21st June rise and shine at the crack of dawn to head for the big smoke Sydney. With GPS set 1 zillion maps and instruction to hand we hit the highway at first light. We had been warned about the traffic around Sydney and were told several times to stay away for the centre of Sydney with the caravan. So we were terrified to take a wrong turn and land up in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Fortunately we managed to make it to Lane cove ...

... there was another way. So we knocked at the flat downstairs (and we interrupted some sort of film watching party in the process, not sure if key swapping was involved) and attempted to climb up to Katie and joes balcony from the balcony below. Still not a chance of it happening. We had noticed a plumbers van parked out the front with a big ladder on top so we both got the idea of using that, only problem was we don't know who it ...

          Contiki FAQ USA general

... washing or shopping for new stuff.

Q: In the USA are the prices that are seen, the final prices?
A: In the USA and Canada the price on display is not the final price. You need to include the tax on the item, then if you are in a restaurant you need to add on tips. That being said, what you get is still cheaper then a lot of places in Australia. It is just a pain to work out the tax.

Q: In the USA what are Walmart stops ...
