    ... and had a great lunch in a small restaurant food court nearby. The lumpia place was packed to the gills and the only way you can order food is by calling in ahead. People would buy boxes of these springrolls to go. We're just sorry we didn't get a taste.

    ... 9 kids and they are a blast, as are her many many grandkids. I will see them more with Ramadan coming up and I can't wait.

    Also, it is exciting to be here when the election is happening. It is one of their first direct elections and the first one with televised debates! I am liking Jokowi, he is the mayor of Jakarta and his opponent is a military backed leader who put down a student riot violently. Not so great.

    ... It has a beautifully maintained exterior and some of the ground floor rooms have exhibits showing the history of the Indonesian railway. It is known as a building of a thousand doors, and there were lots and lots. For the most part however the rooms were empty and some showed water damage and some ceilings had come down.
