... The evening parade was so different. The costumes look wonderful under the lights of the arches and the flaming torches. One character insisted that I get covered in confetti. It makes a huge mess in Monty. It's over in under an hour as everyone goes to the many bars around the town. The gendarmes keep a friendly eye over things. It must be very safe as you see parents dropping off teenagers ...
... so called' curry house and traipsed off in search of it across La Tet River via the Pont Joffre and past the now defunct Le Punjab which looked like it had been a huge restaurant. However, no curry house was to be found. So we found a Chinese restaurant.
By the time we had finished we were so full that bed seemed the only option. It was only 9.30pm.

... and beautiful lane ways and beaches and buildings. We spent the afternoon here relaxing in the sun and walking the lane ways. Then it was time for us to head to Barcelona and Alice's cousin Angharrod is coming with us which is awesome - luckily we have a 5 seater. I am currently writing this in the car on the way and Toch ((Mark) has taken a photo of the six of us we are certainly crammed in!
