... dunes behind it. And the beach was much shallower into the sea. David enjoyed another session in the Med. We drove up to Leucate and then to La Franqui to see what the coast was like and where the campsite was located. La Franqui is a lovely, small resort without the excesses of larger places. ... someone was going to jump out at any minute. But then I'm an idiot and tend to feel more comfortable in noise. Still it was really really lovely. Homps is beautiful. The town is also very clean and very well done. The homes are old but seem to be renovated or well maintained at least from the outside. It was fun to ride around ...

... and changed and went to get some food. Unfortunately, there was hardly any places open selling food. Something I am not used to. At home you can find a place to eat, mostly fast food, on every street corner. Anyways, we managed to find this small take out pizza place. I ordered some type of pizza that had 5 different types of cheeses on it. I wasn't sure the types of cheeses as the menu was in French. It smelled good anyways!

We had our dinner out on the porch that ...
