    ... on the price of grain, and an (unqualified) doctor. We also went into the Gazette Museum, which has lots of information about a radical paper which published anti-Nazi propaganda. Sadly it was all in Polish and we had to guess what a lot of it was about.

    Yesterday very successful day chasing ancestors - went tp szczytno (ortelsburg) ,Olsztyn ( Allenstein ), sadowo near biskupiec, alt keykuth in polish stare kiejkuty - there is supposed to be a secret CIA post there. Off to the airport at gdansk. At the airport now. Poland must have the craziest drivers in the world. They overtake on double lines and push opposing traffic off the road!!     ... So we turned around and drove back to the sign. No one around and we saw a lady on a farm and approached her. She can only speak polish and we had no Idea. So we pointed animatedly to the cemetery sign and drew a picture of a grave. So then she gesticulated somewhat which we took as trying to give us directions.     We met a lovely couple over breakfast who told us how Poland had changed and how poor it used to be. Now it has a fabulous infra structure and is quite modern - only in some of the country towns can you see the remainder of some of the poverty. So we are off to discover some of our ancestors roots today.
