Standard soulless city hotel
Staff quite friendly and helpful
Location is not city centre, but there is a complimentary shuttle into the city, but no return - they want everyone to use a specific taxi service, for reasons one can only wonder at! But it is not far to walk, 20 minutes,, and people are willing to help with directions.

On Sunday, we embarked on our journey from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Brugge, Belgium. We had a scheduled FIVE trains to get us to our destination. After misinterpreting our first itinerary and missing the very first train, we were able to catch another train to get us back on track towards Brugge. Much later that night, while waiting to board our fourth of five trains, we learned that the train had been canceled and may or may not be rescheduled for ...

In the first few laps, Hamilton and Rossburg in 1st and 2nd place have a collision, enough to need to both pitstop and put them back in the field. Slowly Riccardo works his way up, past Vettel and others. Before long he is well ahead, we see ...
... Button. So good to hear Advance Australia Fair to celebrate Dan's brilliant win. Two guys from Brugges took us from our seats in Eau Rogue to the main straight for the podium. Not an easy walk thanks to mud, hills and the crowd, but worth it! Met a couple from Westport Ireland. He was a Kimmy fan and she liked Button. Told us we have to visit Westport Ireland. Very nice ...
Today we set out for Spa, Belgium for the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Leaving our campsite on the river in Altensteig, we packed and headed off for a long drive, around 5 hours of motorway to get to Spa in time for Saturday qualifying.
Celebrating the fact we were again back in Germany, Andy took the liberty of setting a rest stop in Trier, at a Brewery called Kraft Brau. After our wine and cheese tour I was ready ...
