    Not Great, Not Bad

    Standard soulless city hotel
    Modest room
    Staff quite friendly and helpful
Location is not city centre, but there is a complimentary shuttle into the city, but no return - they want everyone to use a specific taxi service, for reasons one can only wonder at! But it is not far to walk, 20 minutes,, and people are willing to help with directions.

And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

    Ugh.

... evening. We ended up being stranded in a town in the middle of Nowhere, Germany and ended up staying the night in an odd little inn. We got up early the next morning to catch a 6:30am train and were back on our way. After a full 24 hours of traveling, we finally reached our hostel and were able to check in to our rooms at long last. It was a total fluke of a stop and although we never intended to, we added a pin in our map somewhere in northern Germany.

... film brought me to visit our bottle of murnersee vasser (the wildberry spirit from our first week travelling) which started rounds, and soon we were piling back out into the park on our way to the bar...

Maybe the rest of the night was a blur. There were numerous shots, more drinks, music, and we left only once the last drinks bell had rung. Well Daniel Ricciardo, did we ever celebrate your win in your honour. A day and night we will remember for a very, very long ...

... mega loud!! No rain today which was unusual for Spa but good for us. Just cold and breezy. Got to a maximum of 16 degrees but we were better dressed today. Drivers parade of top 10 which was a bit of a let down. Formula 1 started at 2pm. Exciting! Great race with Ricciardo again showing he has the goods. Go you good thing! Great late race dice between Magnussen, Alonso, ...

A final German brewery on the way to the GP

... town as the street. What are the chances of that even being possible?? A quick correction to the destination and we were off at the next exit and arrived within 10 minutes. A very lucky save!

On arrival we noticed the campsite number we had booked (from a map back in Australia) was actually in party central - just meters away from a beer tent, music stage, and the night club finishing at 2am each morning. Knowing ...
