Today we decide to take a road trip East to Luxembourg!. It's about 150kms away, and there's a pretty good road there, so we take our mighty Ford and hit the highway. We stop for breakfast in a roadside eatery, which is quite acceptable. We get to Luxembourg about 11.45 am, find a park and head into town. It's a very civilised city, with a good standard of living and lots of young public servant types around. It's apparently the third richest country in the world, with only 100,000 ...

We left Sedan and ducked over to Luxembourg. We stopped just outside Luxembourg City in the small town of Hesperange. It was a short bus ride into the city through small villages. See, a few days ago I had this idea that since Luxembourg was only about three hours away, I could do a day trip and tick another country off the list. It seemed like a great idea at the time, even if I knew nothing of interest in Luxembourg City. It didn't seem like such a good idea at 6:00am this morning.

Fortunately I'd purchased open tickets, meaning I had the freedom to jump on any train I wished. I mentally cut down my day trip to a half ...

... the aggravation although it would be a good experiment if not in a hurry, one day.
Other neighbours helped us take down the awning to avoid any back damage as far as possible (Thought: If I play this right, I can get my “apprentice” to do everything whilst I simply supervise from the car!)Tea & toast was called for (now need jam but still using some UK bread and an ASDA 4 pinter thanks to the fridge)

... pretty darn cold and also looked strangely similar to the Outer Banks in NC. We stayed just long enough to eat some waffles and bananas, touch the water, have Erika almost get soaked, and look at some shells. Then it was time to get back on the road. Jane was in top of her game today (once the fog cleared) and we made great time on our drive. When we got to Luxembourg City we had the not so easy task of finding parking. Now, there is tons of parking.... Technically. But to ...
