The only tricky part is to steer clear of others while out and about. It would be ideal as a beginner to have a beach to yourself to practise and not interfere with anyone. Also if you are thinking about taking the course it is prefered to do this in a good wind and if you have the time delay it for when you have proper conditions. It will be worth ...

... and making prayers for the season ahead. We floated our krathong and then headed to watch some dancers and singers. It was quite a festival with everyone celebrating.

We have also been to see the bats leave a mountain cave just outside chaam. It was fantastic to see so many bats leave in a long line for about 30 minutes. Quite spectacular.

After a relaxing week or so in Chaam we are heading to Chiang Mai and the north, to see a bit more of this interesting country.

Fortunately, the elephants mostly eat veggie and fruits so it wasn't at all smelly. Within 15 mins we had an entire wheelbarrow full if poop and it was HOT. Probably about 95F and 80%2525 humidity.

... days or for as long as a few months. There is always a party beforehand where the boy gets his head shaved but is usually only small, but this boy came from a seriously loaded family (Mum seems to think he was Tony, a restaurant owner who never has any guest’s, son). They do this to get into the afterlife, for good health and luck for the family and to become responsible, friendly and mature; which is a real contradiction to the dancers who were dressed in ...

... had 3 walls! There was no wall behind the toilet and nothing blocking people off from going behind there so I decided to wait until we came home-I don’t know what failed attempt to be modern the restaurant was trying but I give it 0/10. (There was meant to be a waterfall behind the toilets where there was no wall but it was no longer working). On the way home we passed more rice paddies, shrimp farms, charcoal burners, which I didn't see and a huge Army training ...
