Traveling from Chamonix to Lake Annecy we went through some breathtaking views through the Alps. The city is quite gorgeous, a favorite Lakeside destination for French families in summer. After a walk through 'Little Venice' taking the sights of a town voted the most beautiful in France, i had a lovely lunch of the local (from Nice) Niçoise salad in a central location before taking the one hour boat trip on the lake. Our campsite had an aqua park for the kids, with jacuzzi for the adults. Shame the water was still a bit cold, as the nights do get quite cold still. All had a great time though. Loads of parasailing to be seen off the mountains. Must have been an amazing experience.

Belley Large city with interesting history and Great Wall paintings in The Alps. Aire on edge of town nice spot next to the playing fields. Services didn't work but waste disposal okay. Late arrival for us. It's 6pm. I know, how did we end up here? It had an Aire that's whys! Flying ever north since it wouldn't stop raining in the mountains and the cloud base was so low we couldn't see the ...

... wine and took my time eating. It was fun until one of the waiters wasn't happy with me when I asked him to repeat what he said once, but an older couple were friendly and the waitress helped me and overall it was good.

After lunch I explored some more and went to a science museum (basically a children's museum) that had some fun exhibits and then I went to a museum on natural area near Chambery. It ...
