There's no denying it: Beijing pollution is really bad.
On our first few days, the sky was relatively clear. But when we were outside, my eyes burned. You couldn’t smell the smog. We had brought special masks to wear, but I didn’t notice any difference when I wore it. Probably my lungs felt otherwise.
Joyce noticed that when she wore her mask, she stopped coughing.

I invited her to come, and she said she'd make sure to be there. Then, I walked back to my dorm and went to bed, very happy for how things had played out that day.
That's all for now, check in later for more updates!
