... With 300 kms to go, the €22 seemed like a bargain compared to hours on the backroads. Not our normal mode of travel, but worth it in this situation. The Maison Lafitte campground is on the banks of the Seine about a 15 minute train ride from the center of Paris. While large, it appeared clean and quiet and the camp staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you to the French Samba.com member for suggesting it over other Paris-area ...
