    I figured that while Alyssa was busy typing away at a serious blog entry that I would update you on the feast that we just took on.

    Four course dinner? That won't be too much... Or so I thought. I started off my meal with the most gourmet salad that I've ever had placed in front of me. Goat cheese, tomatoes, fancy lettuce and a mustard vinaigrette made it ...

    ... high, so we had a relaxing morning instead. Since being in France, we have seen a lot of 'Desperate Housewives' which I never once watched back home but it's the only show in English here! So, we may have watched an episode or two of that this morning. I know, we're terrible. Plus now I'll have to watch it on Netflix when I get home, because it's addicting!

    ... type of Burgundy wine. Afterwards we spent about 30 mins trying to find something for dinner. It was proving hard but we got there in the end. We found something on one of the squares that was affordable and reasonable food. Adam braved it and tried their local sausage, despite knowing it contained pig intestine! He ate some of it, saying it was ok, but then found it too rich. What made it better than average was that we got to watch a Manchester United game while eating. ...

    ... cream sauce dish that was truly yum!

    Being able to be in Bourgogne during the vendange has been an exceptional experience...our favourite memories are of the beautiful countryside, vineyards as far as the eye can see, bustling with workers and machinery, all dedicated to bringing in the harvest and eventually creating the world-famous Burgundy wines...c'est si bon!
