... last hello stop in the marina on the Sunday to confirm the trip and found the captain with a big bandage from the nearby hospital. Mister for operated in emergency from an hernia when I was exploring these islands. He had to stay quiet for at least a week, no way for me to wait that long (feeling that the old man might need more time than that to recover). **** happens, well it happened. ... they could drop me. The captain was a typical French sailor, a bit rough, a bit hard to get on with but well, I kept coming back to say hello to show them I was really keen. Days passed and muster was nicer to me, and finally agreed to take me onboard, the plan was to go in a few days. Sweet! Is dream plan coming true?

... any given time the vista was impressive to look at. We dropped anchor with other boats just around the headland from the main town on the island. We did spot one inviting anchorage on the way which was in fact a ferry port. We did all this before 4pm and sat o. The boat relaxing and snorkeling for the rest of our leisurely day.

... within reach! The exceptional guide gave a lengthy explanation to the group in French about the history of cocoa and the making of chocolate with samples to boot. He interspersed his French explanation with perfect English (leaned from his year in Australia) for Mum. We had to take home some of the locally made chocolate as it was some of the best we had tasted!
