... shave on the swim platform, and dinner in the cockpit. Beautiful night sitting under the stars listening to music. We pull up anchor at 10:00 PM and set sail for Antigua. With favorable winds it will be about a 10 hour sail. I have first watch from 10 to midnight. It should be a relatively calm sail compared to previous sails with a beautiful clear sky filled with ...

We left the hustle and bustle of Pointe A Pitre and sailed east to St. Franscois. We stayed in St. Franscois for only one night and worked our way to Petite Terre. We are so grateful we did because it was just fantastic! There are two uninhabitated green islands surrounded by reef. The area is a procted national park so there is no fishing or taking of any kind. We took a mooring ball since anchoring is not allowed. Our spot was twenty ...

We were told about the beauty and charm of De Saints, Guadeloupe by many fellow cruisers. They were spot on. The De Saints is about 20 nautical miles north of Dominica so it was a little less than a four hour sail from Portsmouth, Dominica. We anchored in 50 feet of water which is something we had ...

Sleeping in expensive bed and breakfast wasn't an option so I put my hammock wherever I could hide because free camping is not allowed (yeah it's free so...). I slept in the cliff of the south of the island the first night, facing the sea, sharing the place with wild goats. It was free and probably the best thing you can do, just me and the nature, by the sea, swinging ...

... with nice view, where I put my hammock in their terrace, perfect weather to sleep outside. Again, Caribbean islands are not ideal for backpackers so experiencing the expat life in their house with them was really nice, I got lucky again! Some of them were off work so they showed me around, the days I wasn't going to the Marinas to look for sailing boats. We went diving with my dive master friend Damien in the ...
