    ... who gave us our first taste of Asian family orientated hospitality. Anyway, both Spen & I got to watch a film which I think is impressive. Next was the Mumbai 'layover'. Mumbai airport is horrible. Urine all over the floor in the toilets ( western toilets- no excuse for missing!). Staff that were confused at best and hostile at worse.     ... were striking, as were the gold statues, pagoda, replica emerald Buddha, bells and adornments. I was lucky enough to be blessed by a monk splashing water on the crowd in one of the small temples. We also strolled around the outside of the main temple complex, which boasted more beautiful buildings, gardens with bright flowering trees and supposedly an amazing view of the city (but we couldn’t see that for the smog!).

    ... As Gem and Nath had warned us the market was full of tat but was great for people watching as it's used by the locals as well as tourists.

    ... no helmets and whole families ride the bikes at the same time. Everyone comes to an intersection at the same time, they all toot the horn a few times and it is everyone e for themselves. Wish we had those hot pink taxis that we saw in Bangkok.

    ... morning makes us before lunch landed in shuvarnabhumi and after lunch to get to chatuchak week end market -be advised someone are great for wishing to shop there-. because of denseness of the scheduled, although admiration upon major airports but… they did not bother me to keep moving forward toward the exit and find the transportation mode of the fastest make up at chatuchak.
