... is really poor, it makes underhill look palatial, and the local council who own it reseeded the grass at the start of December, and , surprise, it's not grown very well so the pitch was heavily sanded. I guess the standard was conference North/south. It was a good atmosphere, nice and sunny in a completely open stadium, no segregation of the fans, and maybe a thousand there. We think we may take our first day out on Monday, a trip to El Puerto de Santa Maria, the next town to Jerez, and as its name suggests, a port on the coast.
