      ... fortress just in front of the water was a building that, judging by the tables and chairs outside, was a restaurant.



      I seem to have forgotten to snap the restaurant itself but the waiters looked pretty swank. This place probably has a few special items on the menu that need to be tried as well.



      But I didn't show much imagination in my choice. Mushrooms I suppose are not so ...

      I look pretty pleased with myself here. And I suppose I was. Besides the beer I discovered they had quite an interesting menu. Here I had ordered a selection of appetisers.

      ... course, table service, which seems to be almost unknown in Tasmania.in this sort of venue.

      But the experience in the toilet was the opposite of some of the opulent places and toilets I've seen in Shanghai and Peking.

      ... was $14.00. I could not eat even a third of it all. The portions here are HUGE! So,....I brought most of it back to our room
      Kristine began getting a sore throat last night, so she didn't go with me to breakfast. She stayed in bed,....and I brought her a tray up. I shared my 'potion' with her, so hopefully she will feel better soon. As for me,.....I feel tired,....but sooooo much ...

      ... br> The present day fortress was built between 1692 and 1780. Archaeologists also have discovered significant Paleolithic and Bronze Age remnants on the sight of the fortress.

      It is also known for an unconventional clock tower. The clock's short hand shows minutes and the long hand shows hours.

      After sipping cool lemonade, we continued our circumambulation of the Citadel before heading back.
